Principal Propagation from Non-SAP Application to SAP Backend

Hello Experts

We want to implement the Principal Propagation with Non-SAP application integration tools like MuleSoft. Here are the questions

  1. Whether SAP S4HANA allows Principal Propagation enabled for the Non-SAP applications , if yes, how and where do we enable the principal propagation parameters, how does the user credentials provisioned at the source application pass on to SAP Back end system. What are the parameters expected by SAP system in the Header structure .
  2. If No, what is the approach that SAP suggests for principal propagation of the Non-SAP application interfaces.
  3. For the SAP BTP services to communicate to the Backend system (SAP ERP) via the cloud connector; do we have any such service for Non-SAP applications ?
