Translating Catalogs and Groups using STH

Hello SAP folks,

Can we translate on premise texts of Custom Fiori Catalogs, Groups and custom GUI Tiles using SAP Translation HUB? Any inputs would be helpful. Please advise if STH supports this feature?

I have already gone through the link below to translate using SE63 and aware of the process. However i am looking for the process using STH.

Hello Tanmoy,
it should be possible to create in the ABAP backendsystem an object list for short texts and the object type TABU. But please note that you can't filter as explained in the documentation. You will get the object list for the complete object. With the created object list you can afterwards translate the source texts with SAP Translation Hub. You can choose one of two offered scenarios:

• Translation of ABAP object list with SAP Translation Hub UI for smaller volumes and if the ABAP translation environment isn’t enabled yet. More information: Video, User Assistance
• Report RS_LXE_MLTR_GET_TEXTS_FOR_OL offers possibility to import translation via RFC to ABAP backend system for larger volumes and enabled ABAP translation environement (only available for SAP_Basis Release >= 740); More information: Video, Note 2644105, User Assistance

If you want to avoid to translate the complete object you can use the report RS_LXE_MLTR_GET_TEXTS_FOR_OL and work with transports instead object lists.
