Is it possible to view linked documents directly in the browser?

Hey there,

in dictionary entries we refer to our internal documents (and other files) using links to our local server. However, when users in the Collaboration Hub klick on those links, nothing happens, unless they are using Internet Explorer.

The solution I found here: https://jira.signavio.com/servicedesk/customer/kb/view/18749120?applicationId=90722613-c522-393e-972...

only provides us with a file download.

Is there any other option to view linked files directly in the browser respectively have them open automatically when klicking on the link (e.g. video or audio files)?

Regards,

Hi,

Unfortunately, it is currently not possible with audio/video files. The current work around solution is to download it as a file first. As far as I know, currently, documents like Word and PDFs are shown (if they are stored in Signavio and published). I would however like to raise this as a feature request on your behalf, if it's okay with you.

Hi,

Raising this as a feature request is okay with me.

We do not store most of the linked documents in SAP Signavio, since we have to maintain an audit proof document management. So, the link solution will have to suffice.

I'm following this one as this functionality is vital for us to ease updates to shared documents directly from our processes.
