Workflow Inbox in SAP UI5

Hi All,

Currently our users are using SBWP tcode to access the workitems in their inbox.

We have a new requirement to create a front end in SAP UI5 where the users will be able to access their work-items and take actions on them. Do we need to perform some gateway settings for this?

Also, I saw that in SAP UI5, we have a tool called - "unified inbox".

Can someone please guide me about this. I do not understand what should be the starting point of my development.
