Missing the menu pane with "Favorites", "Shortcuts" and "Connection" - how to get it back?

please have a look at SAP note 1710864 and check in the Windows Registry whether the views are deactivated.

Hello Aleksander,

I bet you have activated the Accessibility Mode via the options dialog (Options -> Accessibility & Scripting -> Accessibility). In Accessibility Mode only the List View is supported and the buttons do not use icons, but text.

I have installed the sapgui 7700.1.0.1161 and poke around for a while... My sapgui now is ugly as F but still has tree view and similar... I think you messed around with the sapgui... did you?

I enabled SAP scripting and added sapfewse.ocx in Excel vba references.

But I din't remove anything from the GUI folder.

those two things shouldnt affect your sapgui, is it possible for you to re - install the 770 with the package i gave you?

i see your problem is not the missing pane but that you don't have buttons like below to make the pane appear back, checking further

try changing the "Theme Selection" in section "Visual Design" of the SAPLogon Options?

Maybe a difference in SAP Logon version (760 versus 770)?

I have tried changing the theme - unfortunately it didn't work
