Activity with state "Open" for reviewer

Dear community,

after applying the note 3128285 activities in state "Open" became accessible for REVIWER team. Members of that team can Launch activities in state "Open" and change data there, but cannot Submit them. Activities in state "In Approval" REVIEWERs can launch, approve or reject, but can't change the data. Is this desirable behavior?

I think only PERFORMERs should be responsible for changing data, REVIEWERs - should review, accept or reject activities and should not change any data. But SAP Support said this is works as designed, they couldn't explain for what reasons REVIEWER needs opportunity to launch activities and change data there while PERFORMER have not yet sent them to approve.

What do you think about this?

Best regards,

Alexey

Hi Alexey,

Yes, this is the correct behavior. Activities in state "OPEN" are opened for both PERFORMER and REVIEWER.

This will stay as it is and it is working as expected.

Thanks and best regards,
Kevin

Kevin, thank you for response.

May be you know for what reasons REVIEWER needs possibility to change data before PERFORMER do anything? As for me, I think this behavior breaks down the core of dual control as REVIEWER can change data - somewhat he should not do by definition.

Best regards,

Alexey
