How to get the amount of a Sales Order via API.

Dear SAP

We are using the API_SALES_ORDER_SRV to get sales orders amount. The reason is that there was no API that could get the PS order amount. But this API is SD's API, we recognize that it is not the correct API usage.

Two years have passed since the introduction of S/4Hana, so I think there is an alternative API that can get the PS order amount. Is there such an alternative API?
