Target Quantity and Target cost is coming zero

In production order cost analysis screen for all the raw materials and semi finished material. Target quantity and target cost is showing zero. We have done standard cost estimate for the current period & goods receipt .After that also in the production order cost analysis screen for all materials target quantity is showing zero. can anybody please guide me to resolve the issue.

I think you are using make to order scenario with sale order material valuation If this is the case, please note that system will behave same as you maintain setting in your requirement type and class. If you are using MTO with Sale order material valuation, then proceed following steps.Make sure cost estimate must be calcluated, marked and saved in sale order via VA01-2 or CK51n. then create production order with reference to sale order and try to click on cost calculation button. After pressing cost calculation button in production order, cost must be calculated same as calcuated in mto sale order. If u got any costing error, then i think there is some thing wrong with your requirement type and class. If not error found, then please goto cost analyis, plan cost must be available in production order.Now please perform your actual transactions against production order like Goods Issue, Confirmation and Goods Receipt.At last, run period end CO process varaince analysis (kks2), after variance analysis u can review cost analysis again in production order or run KKBC_ORD. hopefully target cost will be show for all input and output.Regards/ Nasir Ramzan

Check order status and if order having CSER status, please run the cost calculation. Check cost run error log, and resolve error related to cost.
