Entering a dynamic modification rule is not allowed

I am trying to assign a Dmr in inspection plan.. But system not allow me to assign the Dmr in the inspection and pops an error msg :

Entering a dynamic modification rule is not allowed

Message No. QP474...

can anybody guide me how to resolve the issue.

thank you for the details provided.

The message QP474 - 'Entering a dynamic modification rule is not allowed' says:

"...
You specified the material master (dynamic modification level 0) as the dynamic modification level. In this case, the dynamic modification rule is taken from the respective inspection type. That is why, entering a dynamic modification rule is not allowed.
..."

If 'Dynamic Modif. Level' is set to '0 Dynamic modification at insp. type level', you cannot enter 'Modification Rule' in the task list.

Select an other level - 1 (lot level) or 3 (characteristic level) -, if you wish to enter the dynamic modification rule in the task list.
