Error while determining ref.mov.type for WM via Table 156S: 601/X/X/ /L/X/

Dear Experts,

With reference to the above mentioned subject I am getting The error while creating a standard delivery.I have Done The following Steps.

1)checked qty update and valued update field in OMS2 T-code for the material type.

2) Also Assigned reference movement type to the movement type with Receipt as well as Movement indicator as X and L Respectively(OMRL)

When I Tried to Go Warehouse Management->Interfaces->Inventory Managements->Define Movements Type. The qty update and value update indicator was checked but receipts indicator field was blank. also as mentioned in error it is not coing in table 156s.

The same INstruction is given in error for which the screenshot is attached

now one more questions arises here Is it mandatory to maintain all the arguements mentioned in the instruction.

Your question doesn't concern these tags: ABAP Connectivity, UI Web Dynpro ABAP, SAP BTP, ABAP environment.

It could also concern the tag MM (Materials Management)

Did you check below configuration and have defined the movement type- 601 in WM

IMG > LE > WM > Interfaces > IM > define movement types

WM have its own movement types then Inventory management of MM.

Yes And I have mentioned same in the above post as well. That WM comes under LE path in IMG..

Also let me know what will the reference movement type that should be assigned to movement type 601(for PGI) once pGI is done then the stock is ready to be shipped then also some goods movement should be there. Is that the one movement type you are talking about in your last line. Or it is the movement associated with pulling out the inventory from the storage location(Picking).

Please let me if I missed something else in the configuration. Because rest of the entries are getting reflected in table T156s but when I created a required entry as mentioned in the above post that is not getting reflected in the t156s.

I have one more doubt in the error diagnosis it is showing error while determining reference movement type via table 156s but why table 156s is not active in dictionary, so I tried with T156s there also no such entries were being reflected.

Also a question arises How a reference movement type is determined. Is then assignment of MM-IM with LE-WM is enough(as mentioned in the screen shot above) or there is some other configuration or functionality behind it?

When I tried Clicking on 156s as given in the performance assistant.Then The system is taking to SM31 Screen and when I give the table name and try to click the maintain button then the error mentioned in the below screenshot.

Can this be the reason of the reference movement type not being determined?

The issue was resolved by Checking Quantity update and Value Update INdicator for the respective valuation area under the material type for the material for which the order was placed.It was achieved by TCode OMS2.

BUt ONe new error came again while creating a delivery only zero Quantity determined(This will be dicussed in another window soon).
