Variance calculation - Find the difference between actual and planned cost

Settlement - Post the Vaiance cost in Price difference account

Correct me if I am wrong

Here my query is what is the use of Settlement and is there any report to see the effect of Settlement against order or material.

Also is there any report to see the WIP posting based on order and material

Hi Raghavan

Actual costing is supposed to most complex module of all SAP module, as par my understanding. Specially, when ML is active, variances calculation is subject by itself.

You can have perfect, understanding on variances in CKM3N, where you can find exact impact transfer to every level.
