I am looking for the answer to the below queries:

Best practice / Is it possible to do the Web Recommendation in SAP Commerce Cloud sent from Emarsys?

• If yes, is it through JavaScript API?
• Also, share the detailed links/blogs/videos.

What are options for SMC and Emarsys Integration in place now or roadmap?

Hi kunal_bansal, and also Hi saxenapriya, since you also had the same question,

1) Regarding the web reommendations, yes this is possible it it requires the Web Extend data collection scripts to be installed. Here are some links:

• Web Extend - Overview - this is a good place to start, with videos and decsriptions of what the JS API does
• Web Recommender - Overview - a moredetailed introduction to displaying product recommendations on your website
• Implementing the data collection scripts - an introduction to the JS API
• Web Extend API Introduction - this is the API reference documentation on our developer hub, and from here you can find the rest of the details as well as some samples scripts for testing.
• Using Web Extend in Emarsys - our training video on this product

A word of caution: we recently had to migrate our developer hub to a new server, and not all the links from the Help Portal were correctly processed. Out documentarians are hunting these down and fixing them, but you might find one or two still on the Help, but you can still go directly to the API reference here.

2) Regarding the SMC/Emarsys roadmap, this is indeed a hot topic and will be a major focus in 2022, but it's too soon to give you and details. Rest assured that I will be blogging about it regularly on the Community, so make sure to folllow our tags and you will be kept up to date.
