Post GR with multiple line items through MIGO

Hello Experts,

While post GR with multiple line items with reference to PO with Movement type 101 we are getting below update termination error in the system. Error - Function module MB_CREATE_GOODS_MOVEMENT cannot be executed.

Any fix that can be done to overcome this issue?.

Hello thariq

MIGO posts multiple items material documents without any problems. Make sure that the error is not coming from any custom enhancement. Otherwise you need to open an incident with SAP Support.

Goods receipt reference to Purchase Order non-material master items -

Actually, in our case during GR for multiple line items through MIGO the MATNR field will be blank. Only in this case we are getting update termination error. During debugging session i had passed a Material Number (For testing), after which GR was successful. So in short, only when MATNR is blank during GR of multiple line items we are facing the issue. Is this a valid scenario as per SAP?

That's perfectly valid scenario. I've never experienced such problems with posting multiple items GRs even without materials.

Able to resolve your MIGO posing issue without material number /material code from PO?

If still you have update termination issue on MIGO posting- check message type configured for your MIGO posting for goods receipt slip with message types WE01/WE02/WE03 and you have sufficient authorization to post MIGO without material number /material code!
