Posting transactions from other periods - SAP ByDesign

Hello everyone,

In our company, we frequently need to post incomes and expenses that do not correspond to the current period. For example, these posts can be: Audit adjustments, Income and Expense invoices from previous years, Customer and Suppliers adjustments, FFAA adjustments, etc. As you can understand, we must make these postings in compliance with our duty of correct allocation of income and expenses, however, these entries are not part of the P&L of that year. For this reason we need to be able to make these postings and yet be able to discard these non-this year transactions in SAP reports. Could you kindly tell us what options we have in order to be able to post transactions from others periods in the current year and, at the time of getting the reports for the year, to be able to discard these transactions?
