File permissions for BRTools on a share from windows to Redhat

We have a distributed ERP install with ASCS and PAS installed on a windows server with a share setup for sapmnt and the database is on Red Hat. In order for BRTools to work it looks like I need to change the file permissions from SIDADM for some BRTools executables to ORASID but the whole share is setup under SIDADM and I am currently being told that it is not possible to change individual files on a samba share. Although this is probably more of a Red Hat problem than SAP, does anyone have any experience of this or a possible solution to setup a share from windows to Red Hat with the ability to set individual file permissions?
