Upcoming changes in the Intrastat reporting in Germany

Hi Community!

We just received notification from our auditors that a new list of “Nature of Transaction codes” is introduced. It is important to note that the new Transaction codes (in SAP it is field Business Transaction Types) will be applicable from reporting month January 2022 onwards in both Intrastat and customs declarations.

Same was confirmed by federal statistics office in Germany. Do we as a customer have to change the configuration in SAP HANA Cloud or does SAP provide any update to feed the system with the new transaction codes?

Have you also heard about the Intrastat changes and how do you deal with it? Thanks for your insights and responses.
