Is it possible to perform HCM Data Archiving in Sandbox?

The first time Archiving here,

Should the sandbox contain any data such as payroll results, trip results, etc?

If yes, can I perform some sort of test archiving? and it wont affect the actual data?

If yes, can I perform some sort of test archiving? and it wont affect the actual data? -> It will affect the data, of course. i.e. once you archive payroll results they are removed from the cluster and pout in PCL2(CA) or even destroyed
