Working with Attachments Standard API

Hello Team,

Even though there are several open threads about using the Attachments API - https://api.sap.com/api/API_CV_ATTACHMENT_SRV/overview

I could not find a way to make this service work as expected.

Is there a way to use UI5 ODataModel class to build a POST request (create) and send an image to that service, and then at later stage to retrieve that image and use it into your application?

The documentation about that service is not enough to implement such feature. Has anyone of you done something like this before and can you provide an example?
