SAM 2110 Mobile Add-On BC Set

It seems there are notes released to replace the BC set for SAM 2110. The Install Guide (looking at S/4HANA Install Guide here) on page 16 says:

Custom BC sets contain missing configurations. Use the following SAP notes to work with custom BC
sets:
○ 31133240 : S4CORE 106 (ZMERP_SAP_ASSET_MANAGER_2110_REF)
○ 31133606 : S4CORE 105 (ZMERP_SAP_ASSET_MANAGER_2110_REF)
○ 3113623 : S4CORE 104 (ZMERP_SAP_ASSET_MANAGER_2110_REF)
○ 3113641 : IS-UT 106 (ZMISU_SAP_ASSET_MANAGER_2110_REF)
○ 3113683 : IS-UT 105 (ZMISU_SAP_ASSET_MANAGER_2110_REF)
○ 3113675 : IS-UT 104 (ZMISU_SAP_ASSET_MANAGER_2110_REF)

What does "custom" mean here? Does it really mean OOB as released? We are just trying to install the base OOB app, not anything custom. Do we need to apply these notes if we have no customizations?

Hi Scott, OOB BC Set configuration is missing several updates due to S/4 release timelines, instead of giving all that missing configuration via manual instructions we kind of provided a BC Set including all SAM2110 configuration using Z namespace as customer cannot upload under standard SAP namespace. But the content is OOB standard configuration similar standard BC Set. Once you activate this BC Set, application will be updated under standard configuration. There is no custom objects involved with this delivery, this is how we deliver BC Sets outside our delivery SPS/FPS windows.

To make it clear, do not activate standard BC Set for SAM2110, instead you can download BC Set from above notes and activate the content from these BC Sets.

Thanks for the detailed explanation Syam. Perhaps the text in the install guide could be clarified as it left me with a completely different idea of what was going on.
