SAP Analytics Cloud not loading Dates correctly

Hi,

I'm doing some testing for a current production model in SAC. This is loading from SuccessFactors and is all about headcount and employee data.

Currently I need to swap out a field (Job Location) and I decided to test this before redoing the Production model import jobs. So I created a copy of the Production Model to test.

However, in the test model whenever I import data for all date fields (Hire Date, Termination Date etc) the only dates that are being imported into the model are those for the 1st of the month. (any month/year but only the 1st) All other dates are coming through as blanks. The import claims to be successful, and all rows are successfully imported. But, any date other than the first day of the month comes in as blank.

I tried recreated the model from scratch and that seems to work. But, I can't replace the model in the Story so this is useful. The normal loads for the production model seem to be working fine.

Is this a bug that anyone else has experienced?

Thanks,

Charles

Hi,

As of now, the future date limit is 2200 in the model and Dataset.

Best Regards,

Sandip Kumar.

Hi, Charles. There are two things that you can try: 1) When loading the file into the model, apply the correct format to the date column in the model. It's possible that SAC applied the incorrect format. 2) To avoid any confusion when loading dates, I always format my source files with YYYY/MM/DD to ensure the Date/Month formats are assigned correctly in the formatting.
