How to specify End date in maintenance plan with strategy

i Experts,

Please I need your help, I'm using maintenance plan with strategy (no counters) I want to add a specific end date in the maintenance plan but we have only "Scheduling period" and it's a duration but my requirement is to have a date.

I tried to implement the following note 2712672 but It cannot be implemented.

Did you check all the prerequisites to implement note you mentioned?

E.g.

Prerequisite

First implement note 2721764 - (LOG_EAM_CI_13) if the Business Function does not exist yet in your system.

Sometimes these OSS Notes are not updated when new versions are released.

Contact SAP and ask them if its possible to manually import this OSS Note into your S4CORE 105 system.
