Crystal Reports - PDF Printing Error

When attempting to print a PDF file from online using the print icon or exporting to a PDF, user is receiving the following error message.

User does not have local admin rights, which may be what is causing the copy error; however, I'm not sure why these files need to be copied or where they are being copied to. User can export to Microsoft products (Word/Excel). Please advise.

Check with the BOE Admin, he should be able to grant export/print rights for that user.

It's BOE Security blocking the user, they need permissions to export/print a report. It could be sensitive data so they need rights to access that report.

Crystal doesn't use the normal Windows memory temp swap space when it needs extra memory. Instead, it swaps out to its own temp files. So, the user needs to have full control access to the folder (from your screen shot) where Crystal wants to put its temp files.

Thank you for the quick response Dell.

The user has full control to the folder. The folder gets created by Crystal when attempting to print. Also, the error says it cannot copy file from, which makes me wonder if the user needed elevated access to the destination. Just not sure where that is.

Since this is from a web application, do you know which SDK is being used - .NET or Java? Which version of the SDK?

I'm not sure what SDK is being used or which version. Not really sure how to find that information either.

After some additional investigation, the issue the user is encountering is trying to install the SAP SE add-on in the Internet Explorer browser.

That extension has nothing to do with Crystal per se. It's part of whatever SAP system you're using. The user will probably have to have admin rights in order to install it.
