Does material type HALB, FMAT & KMAT share same number range

Dear SAP team

Does material type HALB, FMAT & KMAT can share same number range, Means if i want to use same number range for material type HALB and Configurable material FMAT & KMAT is it possible ?

What are disadvantage if we gave same number range for HALB FMAT & KMAT ?
