Implement Investment Support

Dear Experts,

There is a requirement to use the function Investment Support (on the liabilities side) of asset module to deal with the grant business. Because a new separate depreciation area must be added for this function, my question is: is there any bad influence to the existing assets if we add that new depreciation area?
