LDAP interface into UME database

Hi,

I know that I can configure UME to use a remote LDAP user store however I need to do the reverse. Havig deployed a portal with database users, how can I create an LDAP interface on top of that so external systems can authenticate against the UME users?

Alternatively, are there web services available to could be used for the same purpose?

Hi Mark,

There are user id /password authentication APIs available in PDK which u can use for the same purpose. I dont think if there is any web services for the same.

You can also use sap's Single Sign On (SSO) ticket which is a cookie, for the same
