Embedded Excel (Excel within the GUI) not working and it opens as a separate Excel

Dear Experts,

Even after carrying out the recommended setting in Excel (As given in the SAP note 2739132) to overcome the issue given in the caption , still could not get a solution.

Setting recommended - In Excel - File -Option - General -under "User interface option" - select "optimize for compatibility". then restart the application.

Can someone kindly shade some light on this how to resolve.
