Is it possible to get P&L report for particular Item group or particular items.

Hi,

Check option to creating a SQL query based Report.

You can find all the entries related to the Items you want the report for and then whatever the accounts are used in those entries can be joined to the Chart of Account table to get the desired report. Heavy customized SQL query may be required to fulfill the requirement.

Hi dear Vinoth,

I believe you can, but you will need to use a customized template for running the Profit and Loss report, which you can create via Financial Report Templates functionality. You will, however, need to have separate control accounts per item group, for example. That is, you will need to redesign the accounting if you already use it and start to use the new one from the new year after having tested it first with the accountant.
