I have created a distributed SAP ERP system in windows with Red Hat server for the oracle database. I have exported the database from our standard single server installation using SWPM. I am now looking to import to the new distributed system but not sure of the option in the SWPM menu, I am currently looking under:
SAP Netweaver 7.5 > Oracle > system copy > Target system > Distributed system > Based on AS ABAP
There are options for ASCS instance / Database instance / PAS instance & refresh or move database instance
What is the option I need to import the database to the new distributed system and which server should I be running the install on the ASCS / PAS Windows server or the Red Hat database server?
Hi Matt
Yes, you can select the ACSC & PAS on windows & DB on Rehat along with Oracle DB
