We have implemented SuccessFactors and data feeds into S4 to create HR Mini Masters and Employee Business Partners.
A bug in the Business Partner creation routine strips leading zeros from the HR ID in table BUT0ID (table connects Business Partner to Employee Mini Master).
Searching by name in EAM (confirmation) or EHS (incident) 'misses' employees where leading zeros are not present.
OSS Note 2980261 corrects this for new SF entries - but does not explain how to correct existing data.
Before we write our own code to correct this - does SAP have a standard method for this?
