Hello together,

when creating a new model and when using at the same time the functionality "Combine Data" (to add some extra data to the model) the data source is not customizable anymore like shown in the following picture:

Does anybody know why?

oliver76 Did you fix this? I got the same error. I want to use a Excel File and schedule it every day.

Hello Martijn,

thank you. The data is coming on one hand from a OData Datasource and on the other hand from a file. After adding the data of the file I can not use the datasource anymore. Do you know why this is happening?

Hi Oliver,

Is there an option provided to add data to the model from a file that is using the file share connection? I know that if you use a file to load data into the model, it has to reside on a file share otherwise, you are not able to create an import job. Maybe something similar is applicable here as well. Don't know from the top of my head what actual options provided by SAC here, so it's more of a suggestion to check.
