In MBEW, 900 total stock (including quantity under stock in transit) is showing for material code. But in MB5B, closing stock is showing as 870 (Excluding stock in transit quantity). What's the difference between MBEW & MB5B? Please clarify.

MBEW is the a table for material valuation. It's mostly used in processes which related to accounting. So the quantities that you see on this table will matter for accounting reports.

MB5B is a report on inventory quantities.

From your post, I think the stock in transit is not considered "in stock" for accounting purposes, so it's not showing in MBEW

If you use MBEW to report on quantities you'll run into issues, such as non valuated stock showing a quantity of 0

Dear Mr. Oscar, no, in MBEW the total stock (900 QTY) displaying with Stock in Transit 30 quantity. But in MB5B, the closing stock (870) displaying excluding the Stock in Transit quantity.

Ohhh I get it - sorry I got it backwards originally.

When you're saying that the stock is in transit? Is it in transit from one plant to another?
