Export story to PDF

Hello Dear Community,

I have a request to export Stories to PDF form. The problem is the table is too big, needs scrolling, and the PDF shows only what is visible. Is there a workaround so that all the table rows are exported? The story has been built on a responsive page with BW live connection behind.

One idea ( I have no vested interest ) is to do a 30 day trial of BI export : https://sac-export.com/ - it sounds like it may handle complex situations like the one you are describing.

Hi thodoros_polychronopoulos,

Goto the builder panel of the table widget -> Reporting section(far down) -> check 'Auto-size and page table vertically', you should be to export the entire table content to PDF with pagination.

Yes that is the solution i found also with the restriction that it works only for canvas pages.

Hello,

You can use Grid page instead of Responsive.

Then export the story in pdf format.

This will help to export the entire stuff.

Con: You can add only one table(to keep the formatting right). Based on the #of columns the pdf page is generated automatically.
