Hi
MRP for Make to Order is picking Sales documents such as opn Quotations or Open contracts along with Sales orders
I want MRP to pick only Sales orders to create Planned orders while using MD02.
Can anyone advise on this.
Regards
Wasey
Hello abdul.wasey
If you don't want MRP to pick up your quotations or contracts, you need to suppress requirements transfer for those documents. See the note 2041268 - Everything about the Transfer of Requirements on configuration details.Once you suppress the requirements, these documents will not show in MD04. Hence MRP will not create planned orders for them.Best regardsDominik TylczynskiYou must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.

That's what I'm trying to explain here. The way to implement what you need is to make SD quotations and contracts not to be transferred as requirement to MRP. This way they will not be included in MRP planning. In contrast if you keep transferring quotations and contracts as requirements and you manage somehow to exclude them from MRP planning, then the supply proposal will not cover them. So you'll end up with uncovered demand and tons of MRP exceptions.

Abdul,
Please check the strategy group, if you want the Sale Order to be part of overall MRP execution then please change the Strategy Group in MRP data and try..
Thanks,
