Hello Experts,

We are currently working on SAP Work Manager-6.4 along with SMP-3.0 SP11 server.

I have read in many places that we can integrate SAP Ui5 with Agentry, so I am curious to try this as a POC.

Could I request you to help/guide me on this If anybody has already tried this?

Your help is much appreciated!!

Thanks,

Sudhir.

Sudhir,

I took the liberty in asking our internal Agentry key dev/architects + Documentation team to see if we have something to share here (i.e. any notes or documentation or Wiki help). This knowledge is with respect to SAPs testing or development. It does not include any work done by SAP partners or other System Integrator that may have their own custom development and tool that they worked on. They may comment in this thread if they were successful in their endeavor.

There are a lot of request to do this work but with respect to actually performing the work based on our SAP research for SAP UI5, the Agentry system needs to develop a custom (or new Agentry client) to support UI5 to work with Agentry. There were plans on developing this new Agentry UI5 client but was put on hold to cater to other immediate priorities. At the moment there are no action to further develop this said special Agentry UI5 client (but somebody can correct me here if it will ever change in the future - from the dev division).

So with this said, most of the development will either be in the current Agentry openUI capabilities (not UI5) and or the next version or a new version of the SAP iOS SDK (coming out at the end of Q1 2017 as far as I know this is the targeted time frame unless it gets pushed back or pushed earlier) tied to a different toolset.

Yes there is an Open UI control that can be used to show UI5 content within the Agentry client. You will need to build an Agentry client to include this functionality. There are a few samples included with the SDK and some limited documentation on how to get it working. Be aware there are some inaccuracies with the steps but it is possible to get it running.

I know at least one customer is successfully using it and I am aware of a few other customer / partners investigating it further.

The only document I am aware of is the EAM and service mobile app SDK installation guide which doesn't cover much more than some steps on how to include in an Agentry client build.

Hi Bill,

I have prepared the WPF client to support UI5, I have copied all the required items from SAP EAM to Agentry Client(installed location) and also I have created a HTML file(simple it displays Hello) with all the required details and kept it in the Asset/sapui5 folder.

Now I don't understand how to trigger the HTML file.

Is it like we need to create a filed in the Agentry screen and need to mention the adapter class name in the external field? if yes, then what will be the name of the class.

I could not find any sample project, could you please help me to get it?

Thanks,

Sudhir.
