Dear community,
as we now did the upgrade from ECC6 to S4HANA 2020 with UIS4HOP1 Version 600,
we're facing an issue with Date-Display for CDS-Based Queries in Smart Business KPIs.
Instead of showing dates only in the external (readable) format according to the user setting
e.g. DD.MM.YYYY dates will always be shown in both internal and external format:
DD.MM.YYYY (YYYYMMDD)
which on the one hand is not helpful at all for the users, and on the other hand takes WAY more space on the chart.
We tried annotations
@UI.textArrangement: #TEXT_ONLY and
@AnalyticsDetails.query.display: #TEXT
but still date is shown in this wacky way.
I opened a ticket for SAP, but the answer was: This is the standard design and is expected to be the same.
If this is really the case, the "standard design" is just crappy - so i need some kind of workaround.
Any suggestions?
Best regards,
Jakob
Did you find a workaround on this?
I am not sure who finds this date format useful.
