benefit of having NWDI with sap PO

Hi All,

I gone through few SDN thread just to understand what are benefit or why we need to configure NWDI with sap po? but do not found more details except to transport iflows and BPM.

we can do this with CTS+ as well. is there any other reasons why sap recommended to have nwdi configure with sap PO?

cts just do the transport, you still need nwdi to manage the source code
