Modify documents stored on SAP Content Server

Hello everyone,

We're planning on using Services for Objects to attach documents to SAP postings. These documents will hopefully be stored on an SAP content server.

Question is - when a user opens a stored document (via Services for Objects) can the user modify the document and save it. Or, does the user need to download the document, modify it and then upload it again for modification to be saved on the document?
