Dear Community,
is somebody aware about an integration of SAP FSM (Field Service Management) and MS Teams? I can only find a Skype ID that can be maintained in the master data. But as MS Teams is more used among businesses I'm wondering why an integration is not exisiting?
Best regards,
Wolfgang
Dear Ionela,
thanks a lot. I have voted for that solution and provided some comments what we could do in the first stage to provide a meaningful integration. I have tested the Skype and Teams integration today with the capabilities that are available today. It somehow works but it is not a real good integration. I have used a Teams URL and put it into the Skype ID. As such I can call Teams (such as Skype) from the FSM mobile app. So there is somehow a work around for the technicians.
But I have no possibility to call the customer or the technician from the desktop. The business partner contacts don't even have a field for to maintain a Teams or Skype ID.
I think there are a lot of good reasons to have in the first stage a simple solution with Teams. I need to be able to call Teams from the desktop and the mobile. I need to be able to call the technician and the customer or maybe get a group call with all three (customer, service expert, technician).
Then I can use the functions from Skype and Teams such as chats, audio, video, screen sharing, ...
Best regards,
Wolfgang
