SAP Client not supporting on VPN

Dear All

as every second organization adopting the Cloud. we also hosted our SAP Workloads on Public cloud (Azure IAAS). for Communication purposes, we are using the Fortinet firewall (VPN). Once the Implementation is completed we are trying to access the sap with the help of the SAP Client is not loading (Every single click takes morethan 5 mins to load). the same is working fine with the Dispatcher.

the Azure Data Center is UAE North:

the Customer Location is Qatar.

the SAP Verssion 10-PL05

the HANA 2.0

the OS SUSE Linux 15 sp1

the same scenario is working fine in UAE (Few Customers already on Live)

Hello Suresh,

If I understood correctly, you can logon to SAP and work.

However, every action you perform (like pressed a button or refreshed the screen / list) takes a good amount of time to complete.

If this is correct, try verifying the statistical information in transaction STAD.

Check whether "Frontend GUI time" and "Frontend Net time" are high.

If Net time is high, it indicates network (or VPN) slowness / latency.

Regards,

Isaías
