How to assign a custom defined partner function in BP

Hello,

we have done CVI and converted customers to BP. Now we want to update partner functions. We want to update our own configured partner function "ZT " = "Transporter " in BP partner function Tab.

For e.g if BP = 2000 and ZT partner function = 400345. How can I update this ZT partner function and its value in all the BP's ? We have some two thousand BP's

Read 2594686 - Mass update relationships for BP, and look at BAPI such as BAPI_BUPR_RELATIONSHIP_CREATE of function group BUBA_3.

Question: Did you also look at LTMC or even XD99 or class such as CL_MD_BP_MAINTAIN?

Iam really afraid of CVI. It's so complex. I wish there were a CVI book in market. SAP CVI cookbook is very complex.

Just one question, if we define a new partner function. Do we need to assign it to BP Grouping so that it appears in partner function Tab in BP. fo e.g if BP=200, So sold to will be 200 plus I want my new partner function to be 200 too ?
