Allocation of stock

Hello All,

I have a requirement in my project, Like when were Stock come in through purchase requisition we need to reserve the stock to a particular customer.

Ex: if any new stock come reserving the stock and asking to the customer whether they want stock are not, if yes allocate the stock to customer, if not move the stock to unristicted.

Hi Radha,

based on the provided information it sounds like a pegging of supply element with the concrete customer demand. But on the other side your first sentence implies that there shall somehow be a kind of "reservation" for the customer even without an existing demand.

Have you heard about Supply protection (SUP) in SAP S/4HANA Advanced ATP? Supply Protection is used to protect a group against the demands of other groups.

"In many cases, companies do not want to sell their articles according to the sequence of the incoming sales orders. Rather, they want to reserve certain quantities for special groups and perhaps they also want to assign priorities to these groups." [Source Supply Protection @ help.sap.com]
