SAP BW: Semantic groups when extracting from Composite Provider

Hi guys,

we are extracting data from a composite provider and need to use a feature similar to semantic groups in the DTP.

Problem: It is not there when we have a look at the DTP which has the composite provider as a source (see screenshot).

Do you know why?

Can we achieve the same effect via ABAP coding?
