Crystal Reports: Subreports run independently but stall when running within report

I have a report that includes 11 subreports, all of which connect to the same set of tables. Each subreport runs fine when executed independently. When I refresh data on the main report, the data refresh stalls and will not move to the next subreport after the 6th one is completed (all records show and 100% shown in status bar). If I remove the 6th subreport , the report will refresh without incident. What is could be causing this single subreport to stall the data refresh?

It's hard to tell without more information. What's the difference between this subreport and the others?

The only difference between the issue subreport and the others is the field it is pulling from one of the tables. The issue subreport includes more records than the others (~120k vs. 70k).

What version of CR are you using?

Did you link the subreports to the main report?

I'm using version 14.2.2. I believe the subreports are linked the main report, since the report ran without issue for many months and only recently stopped working.
