A universe on top of it one WebI report is created and there are two users one user want access dev db and other user want to access prod db through that one report. How to achieve that?
A universe is created in Information Design Tool.(IDT) The underlying data needs to be restricted or changed by user.
You can create two connections in IDT or UDT(universe design tool) in the IDT you can create user groups and change the connection based on the user logging into the webi report.

However, in any situation it is not recommended to develop a "Mutlisource" universe. This is currently in legacy support and will be deprecated in a few short years. SLIDE 9
