Hi Team,

I am providing a webi report link as web page address to Web page widget in Analytic designer. I get a blank screen with no (error) message.

Any help please.

The WebPage widget embeds your WebI report as iFrame and applies some security measures. Those prevent the embedded page from navigating. Technically this gets controlled by the sandbox attribute on the iFrame element (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/iframe#attr-sandbox). There is a limited set of options you can configure on the Web Page widget, but not the ones about navigation. So you can't do much on this level. The only thing you could try is avoiding the navigation of the WebI report or try to embed the WebI report inside another iFrame (with a structure like this: Analytic App Web Page widget -> some new page with iFrame -> WebI Report).

Can you check whether you see an error on the console or network tab? Also double check whether the Webi Report can be embedded as iFrame at all. Some pages prevent this using X-Frame-Options header or JavaScript. Famous example is Google search.

Hi bob.meincke,

Thanks for those hints. I analyzed the error on the console tab and my understanding is the id and pwd for the webi report should be prefilled or auto filled. Generally the webi reports we are accessing (not through web page widget) in SAC prompt for login details.

If my above understanding is correct pls advise where this id and pwd details can be prefilled.

Prefilled or auto filled login details is in a way related to SSO i think.

Thanks.

Thanks, seems technically the iFrame's sandbox restrictions for allow-top-navigation and/or allow-top-navigation-by-user-activation are apply here. These cannot be configured as of now.

Could you please elaborate what this means. So that we can make necessary modifications. I really dont have any idea what

"iFrame's sandbox restrictions for allow-top-navigation and/or allow-top-navigation-by-user-activation" is.

Thanks
