Hello,
I was working fine with my trial account - "70a9356etrial.authentication.eu10.hana.ondemand.com" when all of a sudden it showed this error : The subdomain does not map to a valid identity zone" in trial account".
I extended trial subscription just 1 month ago.
Can you please help?
Hi,
This is a known problem with Trial Account. Your trial account suspends every 30 days(see Documentation) and can be extended only up to 365 days.
As you did the last Extention 1 month ago, hence you need to again log on to the BTP trial cockpit and extend the validity of the trial account. Then this error should be gone.

Hello,
It has been almost a year I have been using the trial account. Now it is again giving the same error : The subdomain does not map to a valid identity zone.
But when I try to extend it using BTP, it still gives the same error.
Can you please let me know if the trial account can be extended after 1 year?
Thanks
Samikshan
I get the same error when trying to follow this tutorial Getting Started with Multitenant Business Applications on SAP BTP | Hands-on Video Tutorials | SAP B... step "Persistence - Part 1, 2, and 3". The SM instance gets created (apparently successfully according to MTA deployer) but when trying to login using "smctl login -a https://service-manager.cfapps.eu10.hana.ondemand.com --param subdomain=347c15a2trial -u=I-number" I get an html response body with this error. Any ideas?

When this happens in productive tenant check closely whether you have a typo in tenant URL. We had this issue once and it was hard to spot 😉

I experienced that message when requesting an authorization token for a multitenant application when the zid parameter was not included in the request.
The zid parameter is described in
https://cap.cloud.sap/docs/guides/authorization
A quick fix is therefore including the tenantid to the request. This can be performed through the x-zid header.
Hope this helps.
