Error in Committed Items vs ordered quantities in Purchase Orders

In the Item Master Data tab Inventory we see a number of Committed items of 2.263.282.560, which is way too much.

The total ordered quantity ever (by drag and relate) is however only 6.052.622 items

The repair function Help - Support Desk - Restore - Restore Item Balances does not solve the problem.

Anyone who knows how we can get this repaired ?

Hello jos.dielemans2, You an check the report for commited, ordered and in stock details by finding the available to promise report. It will let you know the documents that are causing the numbers to go up. You can find it in Item Master Data > Right click > Available to promise report.

Thanks for your tips. By checking the last transaction we discovered that on the purchase tab of the Item Master Record there was a wrong number of items in the purchase unit. So your ATP suggestion led us to the error in this case. Thanks Naveed and Ankit.
