SAP Mobile authorization to users

We have different mobile apps created for different SAP users now some time ago. For example we have created a mobile app for contractors, app for field work centers, app for veg team work center etc. To control authorization and to control what users can see in the app is controlled by custom table. For example in case of vendors the app checks the custom table and then only loads data for the user for that specific vendor. In this way the program runs faster and in this way business user who are controlling the vendors can easily go to the table and can change access if needed.

Doing things in above manner has created too many custom tables and now as SAP has created AssetManager (which you can download from apple store or android play store) we were looking at standard SAP options in controlling authorizations. I was not able to find any. Can any one please help in this regards.

In SAP work manager, which is the previous version of SAP asset manager authorizations are basically just managed the same way in which you would manage roles in the standard SAP. To limit the orders so that you can only see the orders which belong to a specific work center, we use the VAP parameter for the user.

If a user doesn't have the required authorization objects to - for example - change a pm order, the he is not able to sync his work manager changes with SAP.
