blending: year on date

Hi,

I have a date dimension (including hierarchy) and I want to blend an imported model, but only on the year.

Use case: the blended imported model has yearly targets defined, which we want to calculate against the actual values.

So how can we blend with a year dimension on a date dimension?

Or would there be another way to get this done?

Do I understand correctly: It is not possible this way?

So the question: How do we get the target values into the data, so we can compare actual vs. target?

Again:

- the actual values come from a BW live connected model (granularity: date)

- the targets (in the current solution) come from a separate imported model (granularity: year)

Must we get the targets as measure into the BW query?
