mySAP NetWeaver TestDrive - Installation error

Hi experts,

I have downloaded the NW 7.52 SP04 trial which comes in 11 parts

TD752SP04partNN.rar with NN=01..11

Installing in openSues-Leap 15.3 and run on window 10 HyperV -manager

Uncompressed successfully with command: unrar x TD752SP04part01.rar... All OK

Made install.sh executable (chmod +x install.sh)

Installed some additional packages required with command running as root

Then launched the installation as root

$ ./install.sh -s

Agreed to the license statement, selected a global password

then fallowing message came with error.

I done above step several time and go through some set of guide line given by community people. but finally waste my time in more than 5 days.

Hi.

I had the same problem (plus others, as I now knew after trying to reinstall it again). Here are some steps that solved and eventually helped me install it successfully:

- I used vhcalnplci as my hostname (I was using something else before)

- I extracted the updated ASE license file (this is in a separate rar file, the 12th from the list here) on the same location as install.sh and renamed it as SYBASE_ASE_TD.lic

- Also placed it in /sybase/NPL/SYSAM-2_0/licenses, with original file name (found this answer here)
